  3. No. Train in self-defense. It's distinctly different. In fact this girl is lucky to be alive. She stupidly pushed the perp away - giving him room to draw on her if he had a gun. That's a dumb martial arts move - what you do when you're pretend-fighting with your friends at the gym. This is real life - and that's no friend. If she were trained in self-defense instead - let's just say the results would be too graphic to broadcast.
