I would say Turkey's interest is to turn Syria into a province of Turkey - and that's why Assad has looked to Iran for support against this pressure. What Assad wants is independence - and Iran guarantees him that. Turkey is the instigator here - and there'd be no civil war in Syria if Assad were Turkey's puppet. This is why Turkey is helping ISIS to conquer Syria. Once ISIS deposes Assad - Turkey and the rest of NATO will oust ISIS - and then Syria will become what Turkey wants it to be. And next - Turkey will turn its attention to Egypt.

kadir gultekin ISIS - though - is a puppet that's gone rogue. It's out of control - taking a crazy gamble on becoming the master - praying that Allah will aid its cause in a supernatural way - in reward for following the tenets of Sharia to the demonic letter. There's no more devoutly religious organization on Earth than ISIS. Meanwhile - Obama and other Western globalists badly want an Islamic Caliphate - because this union of Middle East states represents a step toward globalism. And they want it under Turkish control - because Turkey is semi-westernized - unlike Egypt. They want a global gov't with a distinctly Western flavor - these anti-colonial Lefties being the most ambitious imperialists the world has ever known. Iran represents the eastern limit of that Caliphate - and they'd rather not have all the states to west of them unified. Now throw Russia and Iran into the mix - on Iran's side - because of their kneejerk opposition to everything Western - and we got the makings of one gigantic mega-mess - for which Israel will get the blame - when the real instigator is Turkey.

mehmet tafa No - Turkey has a firm foothold in the West. That's Atatürk's legacy - and they still revere him. Turkey wants to be an eastern extension of Europe. And Europe wants Turkey to rule the Middle East as its proxy. As for Egypt - one domino at a time. Turkey and Obama have enough problems for now - trying to enslave Turkey's immediate neighbors ... and Israel.
