A perp is deemed still dangerous until SURELY and I do mean SURELY dead and even then maybe still. Ask Iraq veterans how much damage a combatant can take if he's amped-up on drugs. It's incredible. And that is the assumption in shoot-outs on your friendly local street corner. These aren't cops any longer. They're commandos. Not even a woke rookie prosecutor would see any case here at all. I don't know where you live - but here in Baltimore we learned this quick. It's been a whole new era for a whole generation now. You comply or you get as thoroughly ventilated as Swiss cheese. Nothing but closed caskets after encounters with the cops. There's no such thing as excessive force in military situations. Tell your children to comply - because there won't be any viewing them after Officer Rambo is done with his duty on behalf of the Law - in these supposedly bleeding-heart liberal cities.
