I would say that although people view him as a traitor for accepting the twos state solution it would be understandable considering the times they were living in with cold war bringing serious tensions of the US regime getting involved But again Hamas needed to step in especially when fascists throughout his have proven that no amount of peaceful solution has changed the minds of colonizers who view the opposition as lesser humans The Nazis did that with the Jews and now the European Zionists use the justification of being Jewish to be the oppressor I would applaud him for steering Palestine to the right path and not just end up as a puppet state for the Muslim brotherhood another colonialist regimes who still want to use Palestinians for their own end goal while pretending to fight the Zionists

@jakartamethod I agree, but I do feel the difference here is that Israel has too many people outnumbering Palestinians who are still genocided on the daily, it would be very hard for Palestine to gain back their territories especially when the west is always around to supply the Zionists with nukes, these fascists knew exactly what plans they needed to implement especially when they brought in massive immigration of Jewish people from all states to build up their armed forces The Zionists aren't simply going to give away the lands they stole in a single day and it would take a significant amount of time for Palestinians to build up their forces to counter the Zionists, Palestinians also face the problem of ending up as a puppet state for the Muslim brotherhood which they need to watch out for

He should have collaborated with the only non muslim brotherhood state i.e Egypt and the Palestinians should have developed a sufficient amount of military to defend themselves, it was a serious error in the part of Palestinians who should have allied with Egypt to develop a sufficient military force to counter the Zionists who had all the support from western countries They did a serious error with the current state of things becoming worse for Palestinians
