@rickoshay6554 imagine westerners trying to justify the fact that they just want to get more power than they already have, it isn't about trying to sustain for what you have here for you westerners and more about making as much money as possible especially when none of that money made is actually being used for good

@robertweekes5783 well that's the problem westerner, theres just way too much money which is made from that patent than what is required for a person, that much power doesn't mean anything other than just wanting power over others

@robertweekes5783 well if the inventor is working on a small scale and needs money then it's understandable but patent laws are just that laws which the rich are exploiting for their own benefits, not to mention one person shouldn't have all that power for themselves and claim they are making money for their own sustenance or for innovation, it's just a way to claim that I need to make an Empire for myself and then claim I'll be innovating others to do the same yet in reality people are selfish only looking to make as much money as possible than actually help their neighbours and everyone around them

@macauinchina well doesn't mean I should have full power over my invention and then use that power for my selfish needs instead of helping the people around me, help others and they will help you back it's a pretty simple rule in nature especially when you take into account human empathy which today people lack of how individualistic they are taught to think, all these factors is what creates Empires where people are willing to exploit those lower than them and we lower classes have no power to change it

@rivenraven1 well that's how corporations work,they invent "laws" which they find convenient to maintain their Empire and take away anything original from those who actually invent new ideas as they are lured into selling their patent to them for money which is something every inventor needs and is used as leverage by corporations to gain that "patent" and earn billions from a persons hard work and many other people who are forgotten for the sake of money

 @Vestat1 no if money is used for good then there would be a way but it is used as a measuring system to estimate ones worth and devalue those who are deemed weak enough

@herlincontreras4504 well sadly all the things you mentioned is what is exactly happening, money isn't being used to mediate the value of a product and help equalise distribution of products to the masses properly (without any corruption among those powerful) and is rather used to fuel ones own selfishness especially groups of people who seek to enjoy from the current technology of an era as much as possible than those who don't have any sort of power it's been the same colonial system since and nothing has changed other than it being used for good or for bad (even that is just to ensure Empires don't lay out their downfalls) and if people essentially put a price tag on basic necessities like food or water or even people themselves (which is called human trafficking btw or "legally" prostitution) it just speaks how lowly people are with essentially throwing falsehoods to others about their current systems being beneficial than being actually helpful and honest like they claim, but I guess it's easy to sell a lie (at least in the past people knew their place and aren't lied to about their situation, modern culture relies on lies to keep people poor)

It's a garbage take on your side especially when claiming that all that money isn't being used for our sake and is only used for those powerful and those who have money, tell me what use is all that money spent if we lower classes can't even afford it then? Don't talk about later years where people will be able to afford as by that time they would have already made more than the initial amount they spent and only use it for their own selfish interests enjoying in billion dollar mansions and yachts while we are left in the dust, just admit your rich enough to afford all the products gained from r&d made by corporations and then maybe it would be understandable ur seeking to enjoy all the slave labour products from poor countries

@alindaderick814 no it was introduced as a way to put a price tag on anything by colonialists who ensured these laws and regulations would benefit them and continue their Empires sustenance from the blood of others

@TiesOfZip yeah wants to take what others made😂, please westerner you talk as if the people whom you praise and worship as those who created patents are good people who have billions on their accounts and they all made it on their own, please it's all stolen wealth from the people who are supposed to have every right on owning their resources and their patents yet are made to sell their patents to billion dollar corporations just to put a roof over their heads, selling their invention which they spent their lives on just to avoid being homeless, please westerner it's funny how you people justify the elites rules and policies and live by their standards as you hope you would reach their level yet would never as your kind will keep believing in the bs your oligarchs feed you

@arquloc0893 well really it just shows human nature for wanting power despite the fact they have the element of empathy the very basic element which allowed humans to survive as a tribe and not just end up as a prey animal like many of their species yet now all of that is gone now in favor of wanting resources and to have dominion over tribes, it's more about how much power humans have and how their personal feelings for owns kin is used against them and made to work against those who wish to work together as a tribe for their development, all for a few humans to enjoy all the wealth stolen from others and never have to worry for their survival

@thewoodsarecalling8382 reformations which do nothing but create more loopholes for those rich enough, please its a false fantasy to believe that people wouldn't be selfish enough to exploit loopholes and have power over others, if those rich are allowed to get however powerful they want then the system isn't favourable to everyone here
