Well the best way to get rid of capitalist propaganda is to get more class conscious Proliteriats to understand their situation, no matter what tactics Marxists use if they aren't able to have people understand their class consciousness then there would be no successful communist revolution, it's better spent time bringing those who are betrayed by the system into understanding their cause than spending time criticizing brainwashed individuals or sociopaths who obviously just want a profit based system for them to encourage superiority complexes, Second way would be to have a massive revision in our own culture and ideals which some of them have been introduced to which are capitalist in nature and be more open to newer ideals which may look to understand the Proliteriat and any differences they make sure in religion, culture, sex, race and orientations, as capitalists have managed to divide the people based on such differences and lured them towards such systems which benefits them Modern Marxists need to change a lot of the old century based ideals for their revolution to be successful

Typical western rhetoric using lack of evidence as a claim to justify their current actions being done in the modern century compared to the times of the old where the set conditions were much worse, I'm pretty sure the American prison system from the Early 19th century was much worse than it is today and even compared to the gulag, but hey westerners surely would bring biased propaganda as to further their own arguments of imperialism while serving their oligarchs

Again the times were not simply accurate and there were a lot of bureaucracy which still did plague the Soviet Union, please do cite more sources as this does need to be more accurate enough, were these cases just a few or was it the majority cause these problems are something that also does happen in current prison systems of wrongfully convicted criminals, the Soviets had poor material conditions (after recovering from the first great war and the Revolution not to mention the famine) which with the fact that the constant threat of Nazi Germany did make things difficult, but the claims of these cases being a large percentage would be false surely and used as propaganda against any successful socialist ideals
