@donHooligan about that quote overall you can't just expect us foreigners to be not given any representation and claim us to be xenophobic here, do you know any other quote from a foreign movie other than western media ? I would like you westerners to bring up one quote which is from a popular foreign media, if not we have reasons to believe Americans are more xenophobic here then
9
@donHooligan a quote from a popular American show which is spread around to foreigners, we already had enough of western media here
7
@davidmoss2576 well they already had queues from the British Empire so they have just followed in their footsteps and continue the same hegemon
7
@donHooligan well so why not fix that reason then and not have us question these things? It is obvious that the west has total domination in the entertainment industry and it has shown that it would not allow countries to have multiple roles in the international community, Russia and various other countries in the middle East are relegated to oil salesmen roles and China in the past was notorious with cheap labour which the West exploited and they still do with India especially with the service industry, nations aren't allowed to have diverse industries and even if they do have are overshadowed by US and any attempts of it is prevented due to the leverage the USD has over other nations, it all comes back to circle and made obvious with how western culture is almost everywhere across the globe and countries like China if reject any of it via censorship are demonised as xenophobic as westerners aren't allowed to live by their standards anymore in such nations
4
@svenhanson398 the methods and egotism isn't the sole reason here especially with westerners who do not respect any other worldviews aside from their own and them being challenged, it's not just egoism here as the people are responsible for it too especially with those who are ignorant and those who know but will purposefully allow it to happen out of fear or for their own convenience
3
@donHooligan and no I'm not xenophobic against westerners as I do believe there are some positives which they have whether it's cultural or socio-economic but the fact that one single ideal is carried over and adopted by other foreign countries with no regards to their traditional ideas which are cast aside for the sake of adapting towards the economy the west has built isn't acceptable here, if we are to have equal cultural and socio-economical harmony then both sides should be willing to gain equal benefits than being one sided which westerners have enjoyed sufficient profits from
3
@donHooligan I didn't even mention about having any animosity here, you are mistaken maybe, I only mentioned throughout history what the West has been doing and that's all and whether what others think isn't something I harbor any ill feelings towards only towards the culture that y'all live on currently, I don't specifically blame you individually but only as generally here please do try to understand, I do wish good luck for you overall but please don't get the wrong idea that I hate you as a westerner specifically, I don't understand those other historical stuff you said but overall I wish you well
3
@brandonsarasnick1602 well Taiwan already has too much western interferences for it to be considered neutral here especially when it's right near China's borders, the west has done enough interferences already and it needs to leave Asian politics alone for those countries to decide in their matters
3
@sonofwotan modern ways don't demand imperialism but is more based on financial and other proxy wars which the US Empire is still continuing, but overall China has stepped up with better alternatives instead of relying on the old colonial mindset with how it doesn't just bomb countries which are controversial like the US does and tries to maintain mutual respect even with destabilized countries like Afghanistan and Syria, and these alternatives are better than the methods committed by the US Empire which does not trust the people of those countries to take care of themselves and does it for them instead under the name of democracy while fueling more hatred and discrimination against the affected countries
2
@svenhanson398 overall I believe westerners should leave foreign countries alone and just fix their own country instead, if anything is to be done it should be done by the people of those countries instead not by people who can't be trusted with their history of colonialism and obviously cultural changes which they will opt for as to live for their own convenience, does internal colonialism mean that other powers should interfere in their matters here? It does seem very convenient for changes and with these countries having historical damages being done to them they will obviously not look to receive any foreign help, China has overall done a better job with that especially when they don't look for whether they are considered terrorists by the rest of the world or not as the people who are in those foreign countries will reform for themselves if they would as with any power shifts throughout time, any interferences from other parties only leads to unintended consequences whether the western group in those countries making the changes want to implement their own culture or not and China understood this well and stays away from it, is why they still opt to trade with the Taliban despite their history as they only believe in the mutual interest of the country Afghanistan overall not the Taliban themselves as in their eyes they are just another political party, I don't believe westerners should interfere with anything across the world for their convenience and they are not the world police here and they should definitely leave world matters alone for good especially when people don't want to continue the same thing or have their cultures being ruined for the sake of western influences
2
@miraivas6203 well that foolishness is evil here especially when people are foolish enough to allow others to commit evil in the first place as to not suffer evil themselves
2
@GuyWhoLikesTheSnarkies1435 the way I seen it westerners are already trying to justify western involvement in Eurasian politics especially with countries like Ukraine or Armenia or the Balkan states, they already had tried with Tibet which is continued to be justified as annexation than reunification by the west to the world, the fact they still play world police especially in regions miles away from them is obvious now and countries are taking steps to avoid further meddlings
2
@GuyWhoLikesTheSnarkies1435 well overall it depends since in case with China the rest of the world is more attenuated with it economically and financially but not culturally as the west still has a major cultural influence on foreign countries throughout and they already do have a lot of financial leverage from their past actions, it will take decades before China does have an equal positioning I say although it could change as they are trying to have an active role in the competition, the issue stems from the fact that the west uses it's influences against any foreign policy China introduces like with their cooperation with the belt and road initiative which the west sees as an aggressive expansionist approach and markets such ideals onto the rest of the world thus bringing animosity between their respective nations, people really forget the cold war never ended here and that other countries are getting involved against the west and many want to stay neutral but are leveraged into taking sides which China wants to avoid but if it does put up a joint cooperation in military terms in similar lines like the NATO, the world will default see them as aggressive expansionist countries which puts a risk to their economic ties with the rest of the world, it's already happening with China and Russia seen as the big bad communist nations that democracy needs to put an end on
2
@GuyWhoLikesTheSnarkies1435 right now the only cooperation China can introduce would be economical in nature and not in terms of defense which Russia is increasing its capabilities throughout as to avoid being left behind by the competition and you could argue them increasing their military budget but it would only be seen by the rest of the world as a ploy for expansionism as they already were demonised for trying to protect their borders across South China Sea, really it all boils down to how much cultural influences the west has on the rest of the world to be viewing China as this aggressive Empire which looks to ruin various cultures and continue to take away peoples lands and other nonsense, and that view is something that continues to dampen China's potential and keep them under a certain position not above the US Empire, like I said so a culture influences people more than money or finances if done in the right way which the west continues to have people rely on the old system
2
@FoxyCAMTV well look at where it got them for, these same countries are suffering from corruption and selfishness instead of fixing their country with their own native cultural ideals, western culture itself is toxic and the American way is just selfishness which has sought out to ruin itself and other cultures too and in fact it's already done so successfully
1
@FoxyCAMTV countries tolerated America because they were forced to tolerate, you forget America was built from the ashes of the British Empire a totalitarian regime and countries have been slaves and even today are still slaves and unable to express their cultures properly and only in convenience for westerners instead who are living in those countries in cheaper prices cause leverage, the British Empire has and still has its colonies under financial, economic and cultural leverage and the US just took over and continues the same path, so no countries are forced by the Western Empire rather, it's not just the elite even American people don't have cultural obligations especially when they live off cheap labour and blood oil from foreign countries while they will continue living in those nations with relative ease while changing and ruining the cultures of those countries and choosing various aspects of it for their own convenience
1
Americans never had any betters as you westerners claim especially when your culture and civilization was built from the blood of others and various other historical figures you claim are westerners, westerners love to bring this idea of exceptionalism and ignoring other cultures and people exist too alongside and claiming yourselves to be better is equally arrogant here
1
@sonofwotan sorry but I'm not confused here, imperialism overall has been shown to be a failure especially in terms of how there will eventually be a power struggle and one faction coming out of the top, the great wars overall were a culmination of all the imperialistic colonialism which happened in various foreign countries and in the power transfer the US was lucky enough for Britain to find refuge in and continue their Empire via a proxy, the US was never in the heights of the British Empire till the great wars which the US had leverage from, otherwise they would have only ended up as another nation if the British didn't collapse due to Nazi Germany exhausting it's military might, the British Empire already was exhausted from the wars in different colonies like the Boer wars and other conflicts with the Dutch and French, there's nothing beautiful about conquering and ravaging other respective powers and bringing order which is what the US Empire is still doing, this is nothing but colonial mindset which only leads to one outcome like the great wars which was the huge bane for the British and soon the US Empire eventually with the path it's continuing, my thoughts aren't clouded and more like we foreigners don't care about westerners thoughts and their colonial mindset
1
@svenhanson398 well good luck saying that to those who seek power here, wars don't just occur randomly but overall it's for many reasons such as the type of influence the country wants to have over others and various other reasons but in modern times such a thing will eventually be null especially when every country on this planet will eventually be armed with nukes, although there will be a time where a nuclear war will break out as there's a breaking point for all of this really
1
@svenhanson398 well Tibet is in a similar situation with how Ukraine was with Russia here, you do forget they share land borders here and overall is also in a conflict with another nuclear power like India too over these regions and where western influences there too from the remnants of the British Empire, these are geopolitics which are between Asian borders just like with European borders with Ukraine which didn't need any western interferences too and thus doesn't justify another western meddling, the west is miles faraway from these regions and yet they feel the need to play world police in these matters? If the people of Tibet feel like they didn't want to reunite they would have elected not to join with China unlike the west which directly invades countries without any jurisdiction or governments of those countries having any say in these matters, you may argue whether it was colonization or reunification but overall in these times the politics of those regions should stay within those regions and should be resolved with the choices made from the people of those respective lands and if there are any turmoil within the people of those regions it would be regarded and acknowledged internationally and not just allowed interference from any powers as they feel like it, the west has enough interferences already and should look at their own regions instead of playing politics with other countries and installing military bases on foreign soil which I don't see being criticised for obvious reasons,
1
@svenhanson398 sorry I may have drawn a direct comparison with Ukraine and Tibet here, I would say it is more similar in the lines of Crimean reunification which didn't involve any military force and even if there were still didn't lead to a all out war, Tibet was in a similar situation which even if people claim was annexed still doesn't hold true especially for the majority of Tibetans and even if there were foul play involved especially with Dalai Lama's government which there were many controversies involved against it still doesn't mean justifying attacking China for it especially when it also doesn't help western media which continued promoting anti-Chinese propaganda to demonise this unification and where we haven't got a apt description of the events, either way if Tibet wants to separate from China then it should be done under a referendum like with Ukraine and under the International community not comprising of any western powers or influences especially when all such interferences has done is only worsen things for those who do carry sentiments of hatred, the approach of demonising another nation and its people is no way justified especially when the people of China should also have their opinions on these topics, if Tibet is to break up then China should have all of its investments taken from Tibet especially when they already had invested long enough for infrastructure and various other necessities like hospitals, schools and various other developments which Tibet lacked in the past, overall it is in the best interest for Tibet to be reunified with China especially with its rapid progression is beneficial for the people than harmful and any cultural or economical harm should be addressed by the people instead of just declaring a split which will be disastrous, u made a comparison between the British Empire and China in terms of development but you do forget that the British unlike China never allowed any Indian any higher position or education equal to their position or what was given to them or access to share those developments anywhere across India especially in poor villages, it's not the same with Tibet here especially when Tibetans are given equal positions now than in the past especially when the government didn't provide enough necessities for the people
1
@svenhanson398 whether you like the unification or not, the people of Tibet had their interests aligned with China for the unification and even now if Tibetans want to split with China can hold a referendum if they feel their culture or socio-economic developments are threatened, I'm sorry I referred to it as reunification as in recent times as many in China see Tibet as part of them historically especially when they share many cultural influences in the past and borders in the Indo Chinese regions have experienced many border shifts in the past especially with the British Empire being involved too, overall if there is a referendum held which there should be sufficient people in Tibet who would look to split then I'm all for it but if the people of Tibet have their interests aligned with China then there's no reason to justify demonising China and it's people for it especially when border conflicts between nations should never involve foreign interferences as it's already shown to be harmful for both sides and more beneficial for the foreign side which benefits from it like with Ukraine
1
@donHooligan well they obviously have a good reason to hate you Americans especially when all that happens is talk and talk but no action or anything which fixes your foreign policy against foreign countries, do I hate you westerners? No but you can't just say some hatred will be not there especially when Americans have been living rent free and always were and still are in a better position than the rest of the world, hell even during COVID foreign countries were in worse shape than Americans who basically were reckless and had all the resources but still chose to be reckless and claim themselves as victims while the rest didn't even have sufficient resources to get rid of the virus, it is frustrating for foreign countries who had their wealth stolen to be used in this manner and not even amount to nothing, yes not claiming the West didn't do anything at all but the efforts were already not enough and others will feel hatred and will be xenophobic regardless
1
@donHooligan well that is something I can't blame you specifically for then, the issue with the show itself is how it backtracks everything into portraying drugs is bad despite the beginning of the show portrays it as a good business, I don't get westerners sometimes why they deliver contradictory messages in their media really or maybe it's just me Overall I don't think y'all are all bad but I do wish things change for the better but till then the mess created by the West will harbor hatred sadly and now many are even sympathizing with Nazis nowadays
1
@donHooligan well in that case yeah sure, I mean even if we set aside differences the hate that others have from the damages isn't going to go away I guess
1
@donHooligan Americans are far from cannibalism here, the fact that a westerner like Ben is representing foreign countries instead of a foreigner shows how western oriented other countries are becoming so it's far unlikely here, the West needs to leave foreigners alone and only people who are from the country should represent themselves instead of westerners representing foreigners while promoting western culture onto others, the West is in no way in turmoil here as you westerners claim and it's obvious from the fact we even speak English here instead of the mother language they are supposed to speak
1
Well if you take away their lands they would obviously want it back or compensate for it especially when all they want is to find a place instead of being kicked out of and justifying it, it's not just US hegemon here also European powers have a huge influences especially UK and various other countries like France and Germany which have contributed in these matters, it is obvious the west is just getting the receiving hand and sadly it chooses to involve it's citizens into it which is obviously seen here
1
@GuyWhoLikesTheSnarkies1435 hell you could look at the Chinese spy weather balloon as an example of how much the west has control over with its propaganda and how an off course balloon found in Canada was seen as a spy balloon which people still believe it and that is something that still tarnishes the image China is trying to build and any action they take militarily will only be seen as a aggression, the west is using cold war tactics against China and Russia and it will continue to hamper their images until they have a better cultural influence than the west and better communication to prove why western tactics are false and is breaking any harmony it has with other foreign countries
1
