I'm pretty sure if Russia was imperialist it would have conquered Ukraine from day 1 and Ukraine already had ties with the west and them having neo Nazis in their ranks doesn't help Ukraine here so maybe stop projecting the Ukraine regime as innocent as they clearly have been shelling the donbass region and sharing anti Russian sentiments trying to get rid of the populace, Russia gave many warnings to Ukraine and for them to leave DPR and LPR territories alone but yet Ukraine still continues to shell those territories and claim Russia did it despite the evidence

  2.  @fun_ghoul  I'm pretty sure the west is the bigger fish here whether you like it or not, and really Russia has nothing to gain from this other than looking as the aggressor which the west got what they wanted in the first place
