Gotta make money from the war economy I guess

@cheesypuffs1342 well it is for western interests inguess think of it as a favor for the US as Israel actually does not have any known interests on the Global South

@georgesais8687 Australian politics overall has been isolated from the west for a while but with east Asian countries being subjugated it would be under full control or already in control i guess, my guess would be with the five eyes is what began western control over Australian politics

And people are like Kennedy was a true democratic leader who was killed for his democratic values, please he's another same crooked politician like many others and his family especially his brother already were deeply involved in politics and in various other sectors of the US government, American people are naive thinking their leaders care anything about them and think that they will achieve world peace, the US empire thrives off other nations and really instead of progressing their nation via scientific and technological understanding and respecting socio-cultural relations they rather befriend one country and attack the other and continue this cycle for centuries, American foreign policy never changed since the inception of the Empire since the first wars against their own naive indigenous, corporatism has been there from the start since the British Empire and only passed onto American culture

Well you never have been so wrong, the west is going to do the same thing that it did with Europe via cutting off contact with China in Australia and the Australian government already showed it's true colours with how they handled COVID being a police state with massive surveillance programmes and probably will side with the US especially the right wing parties like Trump and other oligarchs who look to replace Biden as soon as possible, the cold war never ends on either superpowers whether it's Russia or China
1
@obione69 your logic of surveillance is demented especially when you do realise the same reason why Snowden exposed the NSA surveillance program and the patriot act is for allowing people to have sufficient freedom and rights and not have their privacy invaded especially for women or the elderly who are more vulnerable to their personal information leaked online or worse if many cases of rogue employees use that to use women for extortion and various other acts which was exposed to the public by Snowden, surveillance overall is a controversial subject which gives up the peoples free will on matters and lately it's been used in a worse manner on the US and other western countries especially when it comes to geopolitical scale
1
@obione69 I disagree with China's surveillance program too in some aspects especially when corrupt individuals get involved and corruption has been a huge issue everywhere tbh but can see due to the sheer number of people it will be unlikely they will subjugate the entire population and only will be interested on a few individuals, and also it has been argued by China that their surveillance was primarily for them to avoid western interference via culture influences and mass media which has been proved with how content is filtered on the internet when entering into their domestic servers and understandably so as seen with the Color revolutions launched by the US like the Arab spring or other online led coups, and unlike the west Chinese people are already looking to revise this system and constantly experiment with the system over how it could be improved, censorship can be used positively or negatively depending upon national interests but never should be used to censor free speech by the people or dictate the lives of the people like the west does
1
@obione69 well I knew it was sarcasm but still needed to point it out about for the system of China and Russia and how many foreign countries still don't know other countries will slowly adapt similar systems, i don't expect China's surveillance programs to be applied on all countries just like the west as China still does have large sums of resources to do it, I'm just as worried about China or Russia with how they will implement their systems if they are to become a full fledged global superpower and have a foothold on the international market, and it also does not help with the amount of corruption there's present and it is understandable their economy is still adapting towards it but it's overall a risk not expecting them to be the same as the west which is exactly why foreign nations are being neutral for the most part, to protect also requires some form of control something that people can't seem to understand and the issue is the fact that China has massively learnt more from western culture and may follow the same doctrines that western culture has on the rest of the world even if claimed by traditional ideas still has the potential for a culture clash, we have to realise about the fact that we can't know whether the rich will look for benefit of the people or of their own and it's truly unpredictable with how the elite will use the power vacuum the west leaves behind
1
@obione69 we the average person must remain skeptical at all times here instead of having a one aided approach and think that the elite regardless of nation will never be corrupt which is the same naive assumption that people had after the US became the superpower after WW2
1
@fun_ghoul Well countries follow where the money is like rats and surely Australia is following the US only to end up in a ditch
1
Well Russia and other superpowers are trying to build a similar system to the Suez canal in the Arctic which the west continually tries to sabotage via its chihuahua states like Finland and Norway building it's aerospace around the Arctic and China with its belt and road initiative being in risk of western interference, really unless the Suez canal itself is gotten rid off there's no way foreign countries will get rid of US monopolism
1
@chriskeene241 it never was alive in the first place especially when the US created it, the entire thing about a United Nations of the Earth was a facade as to maintain the US empire for decades
1
@loinaluks2251 well like i said they don't have a cultural relations other than just economic or financial relations which they clearly want an hand on especially among the corporate elites
1
Well depends upon how those countries will enact their rules, anyways it is obvious those countries would have never been scott free as the US has other ways to subjugate them while they keep serving US interests
