  1. If Italy wanted Suez to cut the route to India, why didn't Germany and Italy attack Gibraltar first and together? If Singapore can and did fall, Gibraltar surely was vulnerable. A concentrated Uboat blockade and amphibious invasion from north Africa, instead of wasting over long distances across Libia.
