  1. I am amazed on how little emphasys was placed on trade interdiction, convoy protection and ASW. You would think the lessons of WW1 would be fresh in their minds.

  2.  @doughart2720  37:37 They are releasing the chocks blocks on the wheels. The engine is at (some?) power, and the wheel is pressing againts the forward block. By bouncing it up and down the chock could be pulled out using a rope. Do note that the airplane starts rolling for takeoff inmediately at 37:49 you can see the sailor on the left wing incorrectly positioned himself in front of the wing, and he was dragged a few feet before moving to the side Cheers
