This was a moral and sensible position. But the trust that served as it's base has been broken. The covenant upon it was built is no longer valid. I had no enemies besides myself, my pride and my own failings. But some want me to pay for their demons. Now I have another clear and present danger. A new danger that wants to trade my demons for theirs. This is not a matter of denial of my failings. I do not deny the filth in my eye. But even a blind man has the right to defend itself from the will of others . I choose to die fighting, even if I am blind in my own filth, rather that live as a slave to someone else's "wisdom".
