  1. Paul shows to be well meaning, but naive and full of hubris. You cannot reject freedom, freedom is a curse. Even when you choose your prision and your master, you are excercising your freedom. He appeals to giving life meaning, to believe in something, beyond the material (not shopping)...but he doesn't understand that his freedom to believe in that requires that he allow others the freedom to "fail" and believe in ("empty" according to him) materialism. People NEED NOT be saved from freedom. Not by you Paul. Not by anybody. Letting your neighbor fail because of his own choices is the true measure of will. ---- I am not rich enough to pity you
