  1. High tempo operations to recapture territory would be an inferior solution to a negotiated ceasefire right now. Rusia did not take Kiev (much to old to learn new spellings, sorry), and Ukraine proved it can stalemate them.

  2.  @Rob_F8F  I have some ideas of what would satisfy both Ukraine and Russia STATE interest. But this is a war between PRESIDENTS. The political results and ego of the presidents weighs more than what the countries need long term. Long term? Russia has always wanted one thing only: a safe ice free military port in Crimea. Short term? Not sure what would Putin (Or Zelenski) ask for/need to parade as a "winner of the war" in the next elections. 🤷
