"security guarantees" Poland once had plenty of those guarantees Ukraine gave up nukes for guarantees Anybody that has even a superficial knowledge of history knows what "security guarantees" are worth

In peace, it is very important. Radar, airspace control, early warning, ELINT In war, it has to be denied to the enemy, not because YOU profit from it, but just to avoid the other side from doing so.

Well, invading another country is also a "colossal risk" Technically the whole thing is a "special military operation". So it requires a "special" answer as well.

Hope all the environmentalists, tree huggers, extintion rebellion members are paying attention. THIS IS what a world without fossil fuels looks like.. plus enemy aircraft bombing from above with impunity because electric airplanes and missiles just aren't a thing

"good enough" for a missile doesn't have to be "cutting edge" anymore In 1950s when a radio had the size of a refrigerator, yes WoW, a cutting edge chip with a few thousand transistors was a competitive advantage in a missile. In 2020 an obsolete chip that runs a microwave oven or a roomba can guide a missile.

1- NATO is " north atlantic treaty organization" ...well, you can hardly get any more " north " than Finland 😁 2- Turkey is playing it's strong hand while it lasts. Good for them.

North Korea has sent artillery shells to Russia, they can only do so if China looks the other way. The question is not "IF" China is sending materiel to Russia, it is a question of "how" it is sent. Now, to be fair, China is a country like any other. And countries advance their geo-political goals. I may not like this, but it's a fact. Nothing is gained by yelling at clouds.

Yeah... capitalism sucks and it violently opresses the workers... This would never happen in the worker's paradise JA JA JA JA😁

Remember when an unarmed, slow Cessna landed on Red Square?

As they should. Asking for anything else is not sensible

Suddenly "special military operations" are not to liking? What you're going to do about it? Attempt to tale Kyev? Fire missiles at electric infrastructure? Move in with troops and tanks in a measured proportional retaliation? Oh...wait....all that was already done! Russia's foreign policy is now at North Korean levels of saber rattling angry noises.
2
Imagine later delays and excuses for spares. A tank without a reliable logistic tail is just a rust bucket on tracks.
2
"close loop production" = slave cannot leave the plantation

A couple more of these "victories" and the front line will be at the 2014 borders again.

It's the pipeline gas - The transit agreement will not be renewed Germany will face higher nat gas prices So Germany's politicians are scrambling, because they expected Ukraine to fall and Putin to win

Who has "ancient curse unleashed" in the apocalypse bingo? 😁🪲💀😁

@Vbluevital russia can hit anywhere in the world with missiles that do not have to be on THIS island.
1
you do know it takes decades to get the approvals to build a nuclear power plant? And you do know that the people that make those laws and regulations are the SAME ONES that are shutting down the existing reactors? And you do know that the german energy minister is now a member of the Gazprom board? =============== Germany's former Chancellor Gerhard Schröder to join Gazprom board Gerhard Schröder, a former German chancellor with close ties to Russia, has been tapped to join the Gazprom supervisory board. Schröder has come under fire in Germany for working in the Russian energy sector.

I know very little about this to have an informed opinion.

Interesting idea. There are "tell-tale" devices for containers and crates that register if goods were impacted or shocked during shipment. (useful for glassware and delicate machinery)

Isn't a centrally planned economy, and absolute power of the CCP, supposed to guarantee something like this couldn't happen? Aren't these frauds the hallmarks of the capitalist greedy system? Any hardcore communist want to comment how can a fraud be "centrally planned"?
1
2:23 "our rights and interest" If you are a communist party... you would be scared of ordinary people talking like this What "rights"? PROPERTY RIGHTS What "interest"? SELF INTEREST It is a cultural change, not a housing crisis
1
the problem with this idea is, who would you trust with this power? 1-There are no "white knights", everybody has a price 2-It would be used more frequently in peace time against individuals, than in wartime against "governments" Respectfully

@zelenskyy-the-blackmailerh5920 these civilians voted for Putin and Zelenski. They must now face the consequencea of their votes
1
Arresting Surovikin as a result of an armed rebellion sets a terrible precedent for any government. Putin is telling the citizens of the entire federation that 1- you need an armed uprising to make changes 2- armed uprising works! You will get the changes you want at gun point. 3- if you do it "just right" you will NOT be punished, and even get a sweetheart deal This is a bad look, a bad precedent, but above all it is an un-forced error by Putin. Why would Putin make this mistake is the only thing that matters

this video is pure fear, uncertainty and doubt.

The important thing is what was bargained for this "reversal" . Please note that this is exactly what is not even mentioned. "we do not know"

these sanctions don't work The banking sanctions are the ones that bite hard.
1
@gumby2241 either google it or go sit in the little kids table.
1
translation: EU bureaucrats believe the war will not extend past six months, so this "sanctions" will never be enforced
1
She didn't answer the question: Why now? Why did Poland (now) drop the requirement that the aircraft go through the US hands? Why is Slovakia (now) willing to openly defy Russia? 1:30 "...there is a need to strengthen the ukranian armed forces..." That "need" has been there since day one. Yes, the war is dragging on. But the need was there since the begining The question still stands, and she carefully avoided to answer it.

Nobody should join NATO. NATO is a zombi that has no purpose since the fall of the Berlin wall. It is just a bloated military bureaucracy that causes political problems to mantain control of a large budget. After the wall fell, NATO had no enemy, no mission. It SHOULD had been dissolved. What we need today is to bring Russia into prosperity and trade. NATO is the wrong tool to create bonds based on trade and poverty reduction. You catch more flies with honey than vinegar.

Good to see blackmail is still the weapon of choice among "peaceful" nations
