Light bulb sits at the focal point but it is outside the sealed glass envelope. Fancy optical corrections can be incorporated to the dome, the parabolic shell, and the bulb itself for different use cases. ------>> Best of four worlds: chemical stability of glass, interchangable cheap bulbs, part standarization and less plastic use.
