  1. If the goal really is to create crappy software as fast as possible then maybe AI is the solution...? Maybe they will get what they deserve.

  2. What skills are in demand? Fixing horribly botched software under pressure or designing something new? Everybody talks about making new stuff but I suspect what’s in demand is rapid-fix-it services and people that can read specifications out of impatient people’s minds. Writing more new crap isn’t likely to be the problem.
