Or talking about colonization to promote self-PR among scientifically illiterate people, who know nothing about how dangerous Mars really is or about how life support systems on spacecraft work

  2. You have seen how hard it is to get a new space telescope into orbit. It is objectively hard, and expensive. Why should astronomers be forced to do it many times more just cause some rich guy ruined the night sky view on Earth?

  4. All of those "rural middle of nowhere" people, thinking their internet speed is more important than potentially polluting orbit beyond salvation and setting off Kessler effect, and more important than professional astronomers being able to find potentially hazardous asteroids.... 🤷🤷🤷🤷
