  1. Civilisation is inherently a more destructive force than constructive one. For most life forms at least. So I can't care less about whether it continues or not. In fact, I think the Earth would be better returning to its natural state. Idea that civilisation is better than natural systems is just human arrogance

  2. Last time I checked animals and plants weren't harassing me to reproduce more. They reproduce themselves, but aren't trying to make other members of their species to reproduce against their will

  3. Well the population decline must happen. It will compensate insanely unnatural rates of population growth which happened in 20th century (population raising from 1.5 to 6 billion in one century). Nothing can grow forever. And humanity is already in the overshoot, so simply stabilising is also not enough
