Crossing the whole ocean on primitive boats is not as easy for big group as migration through land like in Beringia 2. Ancient European hunter gatherers were different from modern Europeans. Modern ones mostly descend from Indo-Europeans which migrated to Europe from steppe only 5-6k years ago, ancient hunter-gatherers contributed much less to modern Europeans 3. In the Americas different waves of migrants would mix at least partially. Total genocides are a feature of civilization, not of hunter tribes. 4. It was not even the first migration to the Americas. Solutrean hypothesis proposes, that ancient European migration could have happened 15-14 k years ago, while there are much older findings of humans in the Americas
