Comments by "Kate S" (@KateeAngel) on "Why Israel is allowed to do everything Russia can't" video.
Russian national idea was based for a long time on WW2 and "we are the winners against n---sm" which could give people a feeling that "we can do no wrong". Israel's national idea was based around "we were the victims of n--sm" and this could give them the same idea that they "could do no wrong". When a person or a group start believing that they can do no wrong, they commit the worst crimes

@vainezas The situation in Russia now and Ukraine in 2014 is very different, as situation in the USSR was different between 1970s and 1989. SO you are not comparing similar things. You don't know, see and feel the situation here. I get it, it is hard to understand for someone who lives somewhere else about all the nuances and WHY it is hard to "just unite and go on the streets". But then don't talk about what you don't understand. Also mind that people who do support Putin are as numerous as the ones who don't, and all those who have ANY money and power are on his side. It also wouldn't even progress to 1% population entering the streets at the same time. That needs to be coordinated, and the FSB would put a stop to it long before any crowds on the street. Again what is even your suggestion to a single person like me? If I go protest, I get arrested immediately before even 1 person oins me. If I attempt to coordinate protest before hand to many people, I would get arrested even before we can go. What is a viable solution? Again, it is like you don't get that we anti-Putin Russians are not a hivemind, and can't just immediately put an idea into the heads of others and each other

@vainezas yeah ask older people why they didn't "just go and get their freedom like ukrainians in Maidan" some time in 1960s or 1970s. And where the ones who attempted so, ended. Again, if you don't see the difference between Lithuania in the end of 1980s and Lithuania in 1960s-1970s you would be delusional. Same with Ukraine and Russia

@ohajohaha It is contradictory to the core ideas of socialism. Basically like all ideology that Stalin constructed, and which then later proliferated in later USSR and Soviet bloc

The things you said about Arabs and their attitude towards Jews, also could be said about Israelis and many people who support them (at least here in Russia) and their general attitude towards all Palestinians, Arabs and Muslims

yet the west still buys Russian oil and gas if if comes through the third countries. And they know it. And still do it. In large amounts. LOL Sure but me not being able to buy a videogame online will have a bigger impact on Russian economy? 🤣

It's hard psychologically to be in Russia now cause almost everyone either supports Putin's crimes is Ukraine or Netanyahu's crimes in Palestine or both. Thanks for being a reasonable person and condemning Putin, Netanyahu and Hamas
2
@mishaaskar again. disgusting lie, people were not talking about supporting HAMAS, they were talking about condemning Israeli war crimes

and Chechnya should be given a right to be free too

Look at what Israel did to Palestinians for decades before that. Not to mention the whole country was taken from them on the premise of "my ancestors were supposedly living here 2000 years ago, so f off"

@ohajohaha they were not socialist though, just used it a bait to get working class voting for them. I would argue Stalin wasn't socialist too. He re-introduced a lot of reactionary laws to USSR like ban on homosexuality and restricted the rights of ethnic minorities

Look up at what Israel did all previous decades. Illegal settlement in West Bank, restricting access to water, food, electricity to Palestinians, etc. The conflict didn't start this year

funny cause Christian religious fundies in the west and Judaist religious fundies (ultra-orthodox) in Israel are just as dangerous as Islamic fundie terrorists, if you look at ther actual views, they just use another methods. They don't bomb you, but they for sure will promote g--cide of someone they don't like (like Palestinians, or LGBT+ people) and want to to seize political power to strip people's rights bit by bit. In a sense they are more dangerous

@vainezas It was much easier for Ukrainians in 2014 than for Russians in any year since 2012. You are delusional if you think otherwise. You wouldn't yourself go protest in the case when probability of success is less than 1% and probability of being jailed for a long long time in terrible conditions is much higher.

@MrBoltaxa typical fallacy "if some anti-semites dislike Israel, that means anyone who dislikes Israel, is like them" Israel war crime apologists always use anti-semitism and Holocaust to claim that Israel can do nothing wrong. Disgusting propaganda
