And in 16-19 century other European Empires were just as bad as Russia. They called indigenous people they colonised "savages" while they themselves were way more violent and savage as colonisers and enslavers. What Western and Russian colonisers did to indigenous people on other continents was way worse than what Mongols did. Europeans only used their supposed enlightenment to pose themselves as being more civilised as people they colonised, to excuse the colonialism. Do you know during California gold rush, in 19th century, people were officially rewarded for m*rdering indigenous people, including children? Such an enlightened western culture LMAO I am so tired of this colonial eurocentric myths and pseudohistory
