Try parts of Northern Siberia, where you don't have roads at all, only rivers and public transport in form of crappy old almost-falling-apart small planes to reach many settlements

Most "libtards" are just reasonable people. Stop watching right-wing propaganda, and maybe you will see it

@Sohzy there are normal ones, but anything should be renovated in time

Current form of capitalism is a suicidal ideology of endless growth, though, which will inevitably lead humanity to overshoot-collapse trajectory, not to mention extreme economic inequality. Surely, there are different forms of both capitalism and socialism, and thinking that the only alternatives are current form of corporate capitalism or Soviet-type undemocratic socialism is false dichotomy. I am personally a proponent of either democratic socialism or social democracy, both of those are not very common, to say the least

Platzkart in trains - that is real pain. At least I had to endure it for max 19 hours. Some ppl travel like that for days

1 bedroom is ok if it is for one, two people. Three or four bedrooms is luxury for most Russian families

Many ppl in Russia travel in trains for like several days, because planes are more expensive. And many trains are really crappy. Do you know what platzkart is?

The West is also not as progressive is we picture it. A lot of people with clearly racist or sexist views still exist there, and still have power. So most "SJWs" just try to change that. Caricature SJWs, which right-wingers usually present as if they are a majority, are really rare

Many ppl in East Siberia and Far East, if they travel abroad, they travel to East Asian countries, which so surprised me, because here in SPb everyone just goes to Europe
3
@caim3465 I guess logically it is not. It is just hard to imagine sometimes how far they live, even though it is the same country, because I have been in only like western-most 10% of Russia (plus several Scandinavian countries and Bulgaria)
3
Jeez, I had that phase too. So glad I got out

Bichael Stevens after all Trump's behaviour, when he showed himself to be incompetent, how can anyone think he is good? Certainly not the worst, (Putin is way worse) but he is not a very good leader

If you understand what that phrase actually means, you won't deny it exists

Aha, average, not median. More than half Russians have 20k a month or less

Leningrad oblast, my region (state level) in Russia, is as big as whole island of Ireland. Sometimes in my life I used to go almost half across it from Vyborg to Spb almost every day

@professional.commentator eastern 40% of Europe geographically is European part of Russia. So if you actually take that into account, Germany is very much western Europe

They certainly aren't. Also, is it great that universities support authoritarian corrupt political regime? Really?
1
They are grifters, dude, and most of things they say are outright ridiculous or lies. Crowder lied about climate change and other issues so many times I cannot count, he refuses even to present his critics' arguements correctly
1
Ben Shapiro is such a grifter. How do you not hate him now?

@agring8391 yeah, here in SPbU housing is relatively good though, and insanely cheap, around 370 rubles (<$5) a month, that is why I am still living in a dormitory, while I am a 26-year old PhD student. Saves a tonne of money. It is only a huge pain in the arse that the rooms are for 2-3 ppl, and rooms for a single person almost don't exist. Though, I have heard that in smaller cities dorms usually have rooms for 5-6 ppl, so...

Not as much as Moscow. It depends. I would say it is hard to live on an average salary if you rent an apartment but if you have your own without a mortgage, it is fine

Marxist?? 🤦🤦🤦 They are SOOO far from Marxism on political spectrum. Guys like Bernie are just barely more left than most American politicians from any party. Europeans would not even call them "left-wing". They are literally as far from Marxist as from far right on an actual spectrum, American politics are just so rigged, that even barely being not-right wing makes people call you "Marxist"
