  1.  @TheFivegoodemperors  it actually had a lot to do with Rus, Rus was more than just Kyiv, it had many other prominent places including the ones located in modern day Russian Federation, and it is the rulers of one of those which founded Moscow and later considered it their new center

  2.  @vaataja  No, Rus contained parts of modern day Ukraine, Belarus and Russia. Novgorod was one of the main centres. Very far from Ukraine
