  1. That is why USA has a problem with "missing middle", in many cities it is either single-family homes, which many people can't afford, plus they are located in suburbs with no public transport and no walkable distances to stores; or huge buildings with apartments almost entirely only for rent

  2. Actually all urban planners like him dislike houses which are too large. Optimal size of urban houses is 3-6 stories, surrounded by green areas plus walkable distance to stores and good public transport
