Also, the map is wrong, because Australia was not populated with Austronesians. Polynesians and Indonesians are Austronesians, Australian aboriginals are not

  2.    I didn't say anything about whether they developed "civilization". The stated issue in my original comment was agriculture, not anything else. The criteria of what counts as civilization are always arbitrary anyway
