  5.  @gengarzilla1685  because they still have useless remnants of feudalism, which are not necessary at all? Parliamentary republics work just as well. And egalitarian principles of equal rights and responsibilities by law should be followed 100% without exceptions for members of one specific family

  8. There were some differences. Some for the better, some for the worse. But yeah, they inherited a lot of things from the past. Like the illiterate population, which was brainwashed for generations into thinking that dictatorship (absolutism) is good for them. Crazy is, many people in Russia still have that mindset ("Czar is good, the nobles are bad"), and that is why Putin's propaganda still somewhat works
