  1. He himself had significant problems with mental health, so I doubt he could entirely realise how bad was what he was doing. He was also a victim of his ancestors' decision to engage in incest and suffered from multiple illnesses

  3. @BAKR ADAM maybe where a person was born and lives is more important (for their identity) than where their ancestors lived hundreds of years ago? Why should we define ourselves by something which happened long before our birth?
