The truth is that the population of the world and almost all countries is at all times high, and even in those countries where it started falling, it is 5-10 times larger than it was most of history. Most western former empires became empires than their population was on average 5 times lower than today. The panic is ridiculous. When I was born the global population was 5 billion, when my mom was born it was 2.5 billion. And the world was ok!
