  1. No, they won't have enough nitrogen. Mars has insanely low percentage of nitrogen in any form, even simple N2. Earth's atmosphere has 78% of N2, Mars's <3%. Even bacteria which can fix nitrogen in the form of N2 cannot operate normally with such low concentrations. Also, the amount of CO2 is very low there. Percentage is high, but the whole atmosphere there has 100 times less pressure than Earth's, so partial pressure of CO2 on Mars is even lower than on Earth
