The humanity destroys more forest trees every year than even a whole country of people like you can plant if they collaborate. Now fires increased and add to illegal logging. Trees are good, but purposefully planting them won't change things on a large scale. People need to let natural forest re-grow in places which were abandoned or after logging/fires. But even that won't solve the problem with shifting climate paterns. Many forested areas now become carbon sources not sinks. And many are destined to fully burn and be replaced by steppe, because the conditions in some areas now lead to change in ecosystems

Well it efficiently makes the rise of entropy and disorder faster. I mean, that is the whole point if evolution of universe and why time arrow itself exists.

@thegethconsensus393 well it should be. This species doesn't deserve second chance. Either it survives,or the biosphere can restore its former glory, both cannot happen at the same time. Humans started to hunt down species to extinction even during the ice age, I don't even want to mention how destructive transition to agriculture and later industry was
