  1. You can reach nihilistic conclusions rationally, and then it has nothing to do with delusions. But some people do not have rational reasons, they just feel like nothing matters, then it can be a delusion

  2. Well, the idea that life is meaningless is not a delusion, but very realistic. Believing in inherent meaning of life is more like a delusion. Collective delusion. But it is very different to realise that there is no meaning rationally and realising it through depression
