For me as Russian the most disgusting thing is glorifying the Romanovs and depiction of rebellious working class and villains and unjust. Surely, bolsheviks were not a piece of cake when they came to power, but first, they were not the only ones against monarchy and not the only socialist party at the time, second, why people rebelled in the first place, and several times is because Russian Empire failed to fix a lot of important problems for decades, partially because Nicholas 2 still believed in absolutism and tried to retain as much power as he could even after 1905 revolution. Bolsheviks did not only do crap they also fixed a lot of problems in two decades, which Empire couldn't fix for half a century or more. The glorifying of RE and Romanovs is disgusting to me in any way, cannot even watch that movie whole

Yeah! Soviet type faux "communism" was trying desperately to prevent people from leaving. Many couldn't even get permission to visit othe socialist nations, not even once. I live in Russia. My parents were born in 1950s. I am not ignorant about late USSR and its system

Soviet system was faux communism. Real communism means a lack of state, not centralised totalitarian state. Soviet system was crap
