  1. True. I am 27, and flew only 6 times (3 to-and-back trips). And many people in my country don't even fly, cause that would be expensive to them, some have to travel in trains in shitty conditions for several days, cause planes, albeit much faster, are too expensive for them

So true, my parents always had a rather small income even by my country's standards, and I started really working only at 25 years old and it is still a part-time job, but because here we have free healthcare (it is not the best quality, but in case one doesn't have any money, it is good to have at least some option) and many students study for free in university, and also get some small stipend, my parents and I have never been in debt, and actually my parents managed to save a significant amount of money, because they were saving for more than a decade. And I am a 27 year old PhD student, and live in a dormitory still, and it costs like 5$ a month, even though I usually have to share a room with some other girl, it helps me save a lot of money. So even with all the policies in the last decades here, which gradually destroyed most safety nets, there is still something left, enough to help me and my family

  5. My parents will help me buy an apartment, and we all are very far from being rich. We just live in a country with free healthcare (albeit bad quality) and higher education, so we never had to spend much on that, and my parents saved money for more than a decade, and I want to buy a 20 m^2 studio, because that is the only one I can hope for

  7. I am not from the USA, and what surprises me is that the whole 75% have any bank account, like holy crap that is insanely high percentage, even if most of them have only little money on those accounts
