@matthewstahler6525 then "economists" also should stop using GDP growth as a "reason" why capitalism is good. GDP grows, but without redistribution inequality grows too, and poor only become poorer

The rich are rich because they appropriate surplus value created by labor of their employees. That is why raise in productivity exists, but wages still stagnated - because all the extra cash we produce due to increased productivity is appropriated by our employers. That is how your favourite system, capitalism, works. Billionaires will become trillionaires, and you will be barely able to afford rent due to rising housing prices, and still gullible people like you will worship the rich

Are men willing to take all their kids with them after divorce? Are they willing to change diapers, help with homeworks, cook for kids all day plus work full time, like single mothers do? Most of men are not willing to do that. Most of them are not willing to help their wives with kids even a little bit during marriage as well. Even if they both work, many men still believe that 99% of childcare and house work should fall on women. Why? Because apparently Y chromosome makes it impossible to learn to cook or clean 😆😆😆 But no, of course, you are always poor victims, and women are always at fault 🤦

@henrytep8884 the last baby boom generation (the one born during last peak of fertility, which is different in every country) will reach old age, so the proportion of elders will peak. And after when boomers naturally die off, the proportion of elderly will somewhat decline and stabilise.

@brianthered the point about how much area people cover is insanely stupid. People need area to produce food. We already use more than half of land area to plant and animal agriculture. And don't forget that we are a part of biosphere, it sustains our whole existence, and now it already is degrading rapidly, we consume more in a year than nature can replenish, and that situation, known as overshoot, exists at least since the 70s. So no, we cannot just use up all land, we already leave too little to wild nature for it to be able to sustain our trash-producing machine known as civilization (on a really long term trash is the only thing we produce, all resources and things are used very quickly and turned into trash)
