@Abman31 dude, population decreasing wouldn't be such a problem if not the current suicidal economic paradigm that relies on "endless growth". Unlimited growth, of economy, population or anything else, is impossible on a finite planet. Such strategy will lead to overshoot and collapse inevitably! Humanity has already multiplied way too much, if all, everyone needs to have German birth rate, at least for century, until human population falls back to more sustainable level

Well, yeah, any population which grows too much for too long is destined to overshoot-collapse trajectory. Which is also why we should encourage low birth rate everywhere in the world now (Including not trying to raise population, by birth or by immigration, in developed countries), since human species as a whole is now in overshoot already.
