  2.  @benadams5557  no we think that nations which are already developed stop their growth and instead redistribute the wealth equitably. The economic growth in the USA was larger than in any other developed nation during last few decades, yet the poor people are now poorer. Economic growth without fair distribution of wealth doesn't solve the issue of poverty at all

There is no such thing as "green economic growth", all resources we use are taken from nature, from other species or in a process which direcly or indirectly destroys the other species (like mining etc). Economy of biosphere as a whole is actually a zero-sum game. Everything humans use is taken from some other life forms
