Most reactionaries think all kids are their little slaves, even bio kids, that is why they indoctrinate them and stop them from getting any real education and want basically to decide their whole life for them. Child marriage is also not that rare among fundies. And if a child dares to disobey, like leave religion or just be gay, their parents hate and disown them
