  1. Very curly hair that grows outwards creates an air buffer, which absorbs heat and doesn't allow for heat stroke to happen. Having straight dark hair, I know that it gets very hot in the summer in the sun very easily, but kinky hair creates an air cushion, that is why all tropical populations of humans have kinky hair
