@andylifer5302 He has realistic views. Warped views are beliefs like Musk's that we will have cities on Mars by 2050. The people who are "optimistic" about space colonization are confusing reality and fantasy and always were. They are the ones that should seek help

But logic would suggest that terraforming planets like Mars, mass habitation on non-terraformed planets, or directly in space ships, or going on around across the whole galaxy, are extremely unrealistic. Basically.all stuff humans imagine about space and future are just fantasy, and would likely end up in disaster with lots of deaths if we tried to make it happen in reality. The idea that space, which has insanely low density of matter, can provide lots of material resources is also kind of fishy. Same with idea that technology can progress indefinitely.
