  1. Hyperloop and first rockets on Mars are a great example of.mindless optimism, cause that is how people in early 2010s imagined early 2020s. Even though it was always unrealistic. And while people continued to be "excited" for this nonsense, the world continued going to crap. As a result real 2020s brought us pandemic, the warmest year on record, war in Ukraine and in Gaza (+ more wars) etc. And Elon Musk bought twitter and started doing total nonsense and reposting n-z- bs. And his fans still like him 🤦
