  1. He didn't even hire them himself. His company merged with one, which actually developed the PayPal platform, and then Musk was CEO or something of merged company for only a very short time period

  2. I have recently subscribed to a channel Dr. Ryan Ridden, he is an astrophysicist (I think) and made a good video about why terraforming Mars is almost impossible, and others about similar topics. Check him, his channel is still rather small

  3.  @benjaminhenrie9335  I am sorry, but as a common person, after analysing a lot of information about the topic, I realised that Elon's colony with indentured servants on Mars won't help me in any way. Nor will ridiculously overpriced Teslas (considering that most other car companies are developing electric cars too), nor will his insane unrealistic public transport projects
