People still speak about it as if it is some revolutionary idea. While my grandma figured it out in 1952, when she had one child when she was 25, and stopped after that

@TheDanEdwards same horrors are happening right NOW. If you didn't notice

@358studios yup, the few richest people take half of all wealth of the world. We would have enough to sustain growing elderly population if they didn't hoard all wealth.

@tjpprojects7192 they were raised in a different culture, indigenous to some Pacific island. Maybe their culture doesn't teach boys and men toxic ideas as much as our own does

Music-wu5de we would have enough money to support elderly if the richest few percent didn't hoard half of all wealth

@ImJef you have never heard about Mississippian culture or Anasazi? You are the only "cave man" here, ignorant and foolish

The current economy is a ponzi scheme, addicted to false idea of endless growth. And that also destroys our environment, the situation which can ACTUALLY kill us. That is the only reason why "population always needs to grow" - to keep this terrible status quo

@alejandromartinez3475 no, grassland carbon sequestration is better. The most of their biomass is in the roots, it is stored in the soil afterwards, while trees fall and decompose and carbon is released back
