@Bialy_1 Western countries were always eager to criticize atrocities commited by communist and nazi regimes, yet not so eager to admit how many lives were taken by western colonialism/imperialism and laissez-faire capitalism. In America the treatment of natives is an exame, which Ilf and Petrov pointed out, and there were many more examples.

@araincs Nenets are still nomadic, in part, there are still some of them who herd reindeer in tundra. They were not made up to totally give up their lifestyle
