  2.  @kamchatmonk  it is pretty stupid to just assume that all people from Caucasus and Central Asia are like that. I have also lived in dormitory with people from those regions and in my case they were not any worse that anyone else, many were more polite, clean and educated than "locals"

  23. ethnicity is identity, not genetics, so yeah in fact those 80% are ethnic Russian, no matter their genetic origins, because they identify as such and their only native language is Russian and they are raised in Russian culture. Many people think ethnicity is the same as race, and is a genetic category, but that is not true, in fact in Russia there are several ethnic groups which have people with European phenotypes, Asian ones and everything in between
