  1.  Mor Dor  Religions does not play as big role in Russia nowadays as it does in many other historically Christian nations. I know an atheist from Christian Orthodox family who married Muslim Tatar woman, and both their families had no problem with it

  3.  @imperator692  yeah, most speakers of Afrikaans are also not white, but racially mixed (and most white Afrikaners are even not 100% white, they have 5% admixture on average).

  4. Huh the stereotype that ethnic Slavic Russians can only be light-haired and blue-eyed exists even in Russia. So many people didn't believe that I am ethnic Russian throughout my whole life cause I have dark brown eyes and almost black hair! For the country which "defeated nazism" there are surprising amount of people with prejudice based on appearance, race and ethnicity here.
