Humans are very effective at denying facts, especially when it has to do with denying flaws of humanity itself... Bill Nye is underestimating human flaws as well, at least the fact-denying flaw. There are creationists still nowadays! Even people who think Earth is flat! There ARE many people who can deny facts forever, no matter how obvious those facts are

Pedro, I dont bring religion, dumbie. Creationism is denial of evolution, it is pseudoscientific bullshit. It is not the same as simply being religious. And if you think climate change isnt real, you need to check facts rather than believing silly conspiracy theories

Pedro, I dont care about politics, duh, I dont even know about that Al Gore. I studied science at university, and they taught me to look at scientific sources, not at political

Duh... you really think the concentration of CO2 needs to be in whole percents to cause trouble? If CO2 was several percents of atmosphere, we would be second Venus, dude! Now CO2 is ~400 ppm - parts per million. And it is a lot. During last 800k years it never raised higher than 300 ppm before 20th century - before extensive usage of fossil fuels. Dont think it is a coincidence..

At those times, dear Wayne, when CO2 concentration was several thousands ppm, temperature on Earth was so high, that there were no ice on the poles whatsoever. NO ice at all.

Plus: that CO2 which doesnt go into atmosphere, is absorbed by the ocean, but this rises ocean acidification, which threatens marine fauna

During last 800k years CO2 was never higher than 300 ppm as I said. Civilisations were ok with relatively high temperatures, not as high as it can get during modern climate change. Problem is not even temperature rise itself, but disruption of climate cycles, which existed on Earth for many millenia. Such unusually rapid change of climate will not allow living creatures to adapt, this will cause extinctions and disruption of ecosystems

Well, we know something for sure. Like the fact, that coral reefs respond very badly to acidification
