  1. We will not be able to stop AI when it is too advanced. We would be able to stop developing advanced AI now when it is not yet developed. But too many people wouldn't want to! Either they make money on AI, or they are simply very curious about what happens when general AI is developed, or they have illusions that it will solve all our problems
