  1. Pff. We should fear ourselves. It is hard to do more harm to humans than humans themselves do. All those futurists who say that conscious AI is inevitable are also full of crap. Specialized AI doesnt automatically give rise to General AI. General AI will exist only if we make special effort to create it, because as long as we make only specialized AI it will stay so. Creating new conscious life form isnt easy-peasy, it need special effort and hard work. And futurists who think that singularity is inevitable remind me of religious fanatics, they simply believe in their own idea and try to scare everyone with possibilities of apocalypse or, on the other hand, descibe an image of utopian future which is and always will be far from reality
