  1. How do you ban any idea or ideology? You know you cannot control what people think? They still will believe whatever they believe, they just won't show it. Like: in USSR religion was almost banned, and do you think there were no religious people? Huh! Many of people stayed religious for generations! For example, both my grandmother and mother were born during Stalin's rule - in 1927 and 1952 respectively. And they were both baptised soon after birth, raised as Orthodox and believed in religion all their lives. So, banning religion at a state level does not actually change amount of religious people much, it just changes how openly they express their beliefs
